Thomas met Kevin and his New York based motorsports photo archive through his collaboration on the documentary feature by Men Lareida «Jo Siffert, Live Fast – Die Young». There are pictures from the 50’s till present day, many of them are not identified or classified as yet.

So the idea arose to print each year a calendar with 53 pages to show the many facets of motorsports and its protagonists. We place our emphasis on the beautiful times of the 60’s and 70’s.
The archive will be supplemented with works by additional professional and amateur photographers. The idea is to enlarge the collection with photos by friends of motorsports.

It would be wonderful to get all these pictures out of the drawers and into the light… There must be thousands that are lying unnoticed somewhere in the dark, and amateur photographers especially, often capture the atmosphere and magic of the moment…

Durch die Mitarbeit am Dokumentarfilm «Jo Siffert, Live Fast – Die Young» von Men Lareida, ist Thomas auf Kevin und sein Motorsport-Photoarchiv in New York gestossen. Es sind Bilder aus der Zeit von 1950 bis heute und viele davon sind noch nicht klassifiziert oder identifizert. Die Idee entstand,  jedes Jahr einen Kalender mit 53 Seiten zu drucken und darauf zu achten, den Motorsport und seine Akteure in möglichst vielen Facetten darzustellen. Unser Schwerpunkt liegt in den wunderschönen 60er und 70er Jahren.

Ergänzt wird das Archiv mit Arbeiten zusätzlicher Profi- und Amateurfotografen und die Idee ist, die Sammlung mit Photos von weiteren Freunden des Motorsports zu erweitern.
